Okta warns of credential stuffing attacks targeting Customer Identity Cloud
Okta have warned of credential stuffing attacks targeting its Customer Identity Cloud. These attacks began on April 15, leveraging compromised usernames and passwords from previous breaches to gain unauthorised access to accounts. Okta identified increased login attempts via cross-origin authentication endpoints, prompting an advisory for customers to check their logs for suspicious activities, rotate credentials, and disable vulnerable features if necessary.
Global data breach: Ticketek and Ticketmaster compromised
A major cyber security breach has affected Ticketek and Ticketmaster, two of the world’s leading ticketing platforms. Live Nation, the parent company of Ticketmaster, has confirmed the breach, while the cloud platform involved has denied responsibility, raising questions about accountability and data security practices.
