Ernie Hug

Ernie is the Group Executive for MSP & Cyber Security Services at AUCyber.

In this role, Ernie is responsible for the end-to-end sales and go-to-market function across AUCyber’s core revenue streams, including Cloud Services, Managed IT and Professional Services and Information Security Solutions. He leads sales strategy and execution, team development, and the full customer lifecycle, from acquisition through to expansion and retention.

Before joining AUCyber, Ernie held senior leadership roles at Splunk, Cisco and VMware. He led large-scale sales organisations across security, cloud and SaaS solutions, delivering significant revenue growth, expanding market presence and earning multiple APAC awards for performance and leadership.

With more than two decades of experience across cyber security, cloud and enterprise technology, Ernie brings expertise in building high-performing teams, driving customer success and aligning complex technology outcomes with business needs. His leadership combines strategic vision with a customer-first mindset, positioning AUCyber to continue delivering secure and scalable solutions to Australia’s leading organisations.
